Hello on a sunny, snowy, beautiful day in December, a few months after starting this blog! I figure it's about time to explain the starting and naming of this blog, KnitHeaven.
This past summer, while checking out knitting sites, I came across the domain/site named, 
KnitHeaven.com. And, guess what? It was for sale! So, I decided to buy it and try my hand at owning a website.
It was a one page site with a forum. Neither look like they look now. This has entailed a mucho amount of learning...about everything!! So far, I am up for the challenge. I realize it is an ongoing process one does out of a love of knitting. To me, that means....knitting in general, and all that knitting represents, such as....the community, the love of yarn, and so on. Somehow this place found me. I'm not sure why, or where it will lead me, but it feels like the right place to be right now.
In my never ending search to discover about knitting, I come across many blogs. I am in total **awe** of all of the different blogs about Knitting!! Wow oh Wow The creativity of the blogs, not to mention the georgeous, fabulous knitted items. With a blog, one gets to see the person behind the knitted sweater, hat, shawl, etc etc. It's really neat too how bloggers (knitting ones, anyway) make many friends and share in the joy of a finished item.
I doubt that I will be a knitting blogger in the true sense of what I've seen these blogs to be. But I will, from time to time, try to update here, even if it's just to let you know what's going on at the KnitHeaven site.
